Ingredients
- 1 egg for every 1/2 pint of milk
- 1/2oz sugar
- Pinch of nutmeg
Method
- Heat but not boil milk
- Pour in lightly beaten egg and sugar
- Put mixture in dish sprinkle a little nutmeg on top
- Stand dish in a deep baking tin and pour cold water round it to prevent over heating
- Bake in oven 350f about 40 mins till set and light coloured.
